Imports
EUR 5 million
A report is required where the value of imports from other EU Member States reaches or exceeds EUR 5 million in the previous or current year.
Exports
EUR 1.2 million
A report is required where the value of exports to other EU Member States reaches or exceeds EUR 1.2 million in the previous or current year.
Note on the thresholds
The thresholds are based on the previous year's annual turnover in intra-Community trade. If a threshold is newly exceeded during the current year, the reporting obligation begins the following month and then applies for at least the remainder of the calendar year.

Statistik Austria
The national authority for Intrastat data collection in Austria. Statistik Austria receives the reports, checks them for plausibility, and forwards the data to Eurostat.
RTIC – Reporting Tool for Intrastat and Comext
Statistik Austria's online reporting portal. Reports can be entered manually or uploaded as a CSV file. IntrastatAI exports the finished report in the correct RTIC format.
Submission Deadlines 2026 – Austria
Each monthly report must be submitted by the 10th working day of the following month (Austrian public holidays taken into account).
